Mumbaikars can now book Kaali-Peeli (black-and-yellow) taxis from their own mobile app. The app called-Aamchi Drive-will be launched by state transport minister Diwakar Raote at a function at Prabhadevi on June 29th, 2017. Kaali-Peelis to use our Taxi Booking App ‘Aamchi Drive’ from June 29
From June 29th, 2017 you can book a Kaali-Peeli taxi using ‘Aamchi Drive’ mobile app from the comfort of your home. The app will make Kaali-Peelis available at government-approved rates even for short distances. The application is an initiative by the Kaali Peeli Taxi Union and the Mumbai Taximen’s Union, in an effort to tackle the competition they’re facing from Cab Aggregator firms. Read More.

The Transport Department had recently allowed ‘kaali-peelis’ to have air-conditioning and it is being regarded as the first step towards allowing this sector to come into the aggregator fold. Kaali-Peeli Cabs setting up the first-ever Control Room to go digital with our taxi management solution
The Mumbai Taximen’s Union & Mumbai Taxi Association have taken the initiative for setting up the first-ever control room for monitoring the movement of Kaali-Peeli cabs using our Taxi Management app for operations from June 1, 2017. “Most drivers are eager to remove the electronic meter and operate using app & e-bills.
